Floc Monitoring

Realtime Monitoring
of Floc Size Distribution

Chemical coagulation and sedimentation are important
processes in water treatment facilities.
If the floc size is too small, the settling efficiency
will decrease, and excessive chemical dosage will cause
increased operating costs.
Floc information is a proactive indicator that can monitor
the settling efficiency of the clarifier, and operators can
reduce operating costs through effective floc management.
The machine vision technology used in FlocFinder reduces
the labor of the operator and converts the floc status into
real-time digital information.

  • High-speed sensor-type camera that can be submerged in a tank
  • Automatic cleaning device for cleaning sensor optics
  • Automatic white balance and automatic gain settings
  • 4 image display options (raw, data, box, contour)
  • Options for image analysis
  • Historical data and export Excel data
  • Sending video to FlocFinder.Server using streaming
  • Communication with HMI and PLC using Modbus server
  • PID control value output for coagulant control
